After loop closure is complete, CavePlot compiles a list of all the loops it found, then puts the list into an edit field for viewing, printing, etc. Included in this list are the name of the closing station (where the survey reconnected), the two station numbers where it closed, the common node (station) for the two branches of the loop, and the amount of error involved in the loop.
Loops which are colored blue in the loop listing are those whose statistical error exceeds "Bad E", a value you may set on the Preferences Window. Blue (bad) loops are closed by CavePlot, but are flagged as being bad on the loop listing.
Loops which are colored red in the loop listing are those whose error exceeds "Max E", another value you may set on the Preferences Window. Red Loops are NOT CLOSED by CavePlot, because they have too much error in them, but are listed for your information.
Buttons are provided on the Loop Listing to allow you to either save the text to a file to disk, or print the text to a printer. Selecting the Close Button, or closing the window, will dump the text and associated memory. To conserve memory, CavePlot does not keep the loop closure variables or loop information in memory after the closure operation is complete. The text in this edit field is the only record of what loops exist, and what loops were closed by CavePlot.
To restore this loop listing after the edit field has been closed, simply have CavePlot close the loops again. Unless you are closing all the loops in Lechuguilla Cave or Mammoth Cave, it really doesn't take that long to re-close loops.
